Family Needs 
 of Patients Admitted to Critical Care Unit (CCU)
 Abstract
 The growing threat patients’ death will impact on their family’s worry and stress which negatively affect the role family as a part support system for patient. purpose this study is determine needs patients admitted CCU Arifin Achmad General Hospital Riau Province. This quantitative using descriptive design with 21 respondents chosen consecutive sampling technique. data were collected questionnaire then analyzed univariate analysis. found that, regarding need service guarantees, 85.7% stated that it was very important understand medication health treatment given patient; information, 66.7% know real condition mental from family, 71.4% have family; convenience, 42.9% they provided washroom close waiting room well intensive room; closeness, 38.1% be able visit patient at one member family. It can concluded understanding most. suggested nurses prioritize providing nursing care most needed needs. Key words: CCU, needs.

 Abstrak
 Besarnya ancaman kematian pasien akan memiliki dampak kecemasan dan stres keluarga berdampak pada peran sebagai menjadi tidak maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kebutuhan di RSUD Provinsi Riau. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling, jumlah dalam sebanyak responden. Alat pengumpulan kuesioner analisis dilakukan secara univariat. Hasil didapatkan jaminan pelayanan responden menyatakan sangat penting mengetahui tujuan pengobatan tindakan perawatan yang diberikan, informasi kondisi sebenarnya, dukungan mendapatkan antar keluarga, kenyamanan tersedia kamar mandi dekat ruang tunggu didekat intensif, serta kedekatan mengunjungi diruang intensif (CCU) bersama salah satu kerabat. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa diberikan merupakan paling dibutuhkan keluarga. Kepada perawat disarankan memprioritaskan asuhan keperawatan terhadap dibutuhkan.
